What do you want from your mascara? Do you want it to lengthen? Thicken? Do you want it to separate your lashes, or do you want to be able to go for a dramatic spider lash look? What makes a truly great mascara is incredibly subjective, but I feel like ours potentially hits all the marks. Out of all of EVXO’s products, I believe this is the one that could be considered a winner universally because it is so incredibly versatile.
This organic mascara doesn’t clump… unless you want it to. For those of us who prefer a natural look (I’m included in this category) you can apply one or two coats and have absolutely no issue with clumping and get an amazing, refined looking finish. But there are certainly days where I want to look dramatic for an Instagram picture so I layer it on and get those awesome, awful lashes that everyone loves to hate. I’d say it take about 4 coats before things go from natural to “oh no honey what is you doing”, so make sure you know which look you’re going for before breaking out the mascara wand.
Now, what about fall out? There isn’t a person in this world who enjoys their mascara flaking off onto their face throughout the day. Avoiding flaking was my main priority when looking for a vegan and organic formulation, and I was lucky enough to find the perfect formula. In the two years I have been exclusively using this mascara, it has never flaked onto my face. Not once. I realize that as I’m the one that sells these products, my word isn’t necessarily unbiased.
