How To Apply EVXO's Mineral Mascara
Mascara is one of the first makeup items a person typically tries out, but it's also one of the harder products to apply. Apply it correctly and you're off to glam town! But apply it incorrectly and you'll fall right into raccoon hell.
EVXO's Organic Mineral Mascara has a thick wand for voluminous lashes, creating an amazing false lash effect. But because of the thick wand, you'll want to follow these instructions to a T to avoid poking yourself in the eye or doing that annoying thing where you accidentally brush your nose while applying it and ruin your foundation. You know exactly what I'm talking about. It's the worst.
Here are some tried and true tips for perfect application:
1. Remove Any Excess
Wipe excess mascara off of the brush and onto some tissue paper to avoid clumps. While our formula is not generally clumpy, there will be excess product on the brush because it's your first time using it. Too much mascara is the perfect recipe for clumps!
2. Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle
3. Coat Above And Below
For thicker looking lashes, coat both sides. Brush them down first, and then brush up from the base. This will also give your lashes more of a lift, but it's a slippery slope that can lead to clumping if you're not careful! I'd recommend only using one coat if you choose to use this method.
4. Choose Your Angle
Hold the brush at a horizontal angle if you want thick lashes, or turn it vertically for a more light and natural finish.
5. Every Bit Counts
Every mascara gets clumpy towards the end of its lifespan(3 months), but there is a way to correct this. If you get towards the end of the bottle and you want that last little bit, soak the mascara tube (with the cap on tight) in hot water. It'll heat up the clumps and return them to their liquid form, making it thinner and easier to apply!
With these full proof steps, you can't go wrong with this vegan and organic mineral mascara!
